Most cold plunge setups use chilled tap water. Ours are two whiskey barrels filled every day with fresh sea water from Tralee Bay — right outside the cabin door. Cold, salty, and exactly what contrast therapy is supposed to feel like.
Step out of the wood-fired sauna and straight into the barrel. Sharp, short, and exactly the point. Then sit with the view while your nervous system resets.
